This denomination was struck in Westfriesland and the other Dutch provinces (including Holland, Utrecht, Zeeland and Gelderland) 1715-94 and is common. Various mintmarks are noted and the rosette shown here is listed for 1774-94. Double wapenstuivers are also known struck in gold of ducat weight.

Recorded mintage: 1,310,000 for 1774-79.

Specification: 1.62 g, 0.583 fine silver.
