This denomination was struck in Gelderland and the other Dutch provinces (including Zeeland and Westfriesland) 1702-92 and is common, tho less so than other provinces. Various mintmarks are noted and the cornstalk (or tulip?) shown here is listed for 1785-92. Double wapenstuivers are also known struck in gold of ducat weight.

Recorded mintage: 804,705 for 1786-92.

Specification: 1.62 g, 0.583 fine silver.
