This specimen was lot 2838 in Stephen Album sale 45 (Santa Rosa, CA, January 2023), where it sold for $132. The catalog description[1] noted, "WEST FRIESLAND: Dutch Republic, AR 2 stuivers, 1787/6, a lovely mint state example! PCGS graded MS63, ex Joe Sedillot Collection." This type was struck 1715-39, 1744-62, 1765-79, 1784-94. Various mintmarks are noted and the rosette shown here is listed for 1774-94. Double wapenstuivers are also known struck in gold of ducat weight.
