This specimen was lot 911 in Sincona sale 69 (Zürich, May 2021), where it sold for 9,000 CHF (about US$11,945 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"THE NETHERLANDS | Westfriesland, Provinz. 2 Dukaten 1767. Abschlag von den Stempeln des Scheepjeschilling (6 Stüber). Sehr selten. Prachtvolle Erhaltung. (Netherlands, province of Westfriesland, double ducat of 1767, off-metal strike using schilling dies. Very rare. NGC MS64, Magnificent condition.)"
This type was struck with a ship mintmark 1762, 1765, 1767, 1771 (mintage 100,000 combined). This date is unlisted in gold.
