This specimen was lot 1127 in Stephen Album sale 50 (Santa Rosa, CA, September 2024), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "WEST FRIESLAND: United Netherlands, AR ducatoon, 1767, some weakness in the strike and some adjustment marks, but an attractive and original piece, VF." Westfriesland struck this denomination throughout the eighteenth century until 1793. This was the largest silver coin and many subtypes exist. This one was struck 1759-62, 1765-74 and is common.
