This specimen was lot 34029 in Heritage sale 3106 (New York, January 2023), where it sold for $9,600. The catalog description[1] noted, "Netherlands: Holland. Provincial gold 6 Stuivers 1767 MS64 Prooflike NGC. An always coveted specie when located as an off-metal striking in gold to 2 Ducat specifications. Among the most beautiful and original examples this cataloger has handled, fully deserving of its advanced Prooflike assignment. Tied for the finest of this date at NGC." The regular billon Scheepjesschelling was struck 1701-05, 1708-37, 1745-54, 1759-63, 1767, while the gold version was struck 1702-03, 1709, 1722-84, 1789-94.
