Numismatica Ferrarese srl E-Auction 27, lot 322

This specimen was lot 322 in Numismatica Ferrarese srl E-Auction 27 (Ferrara, Italy, November 2023) where it sold for 305 EUR (about US$399 including buyer's fees). The lot description noted,

"Venezia - Giovanni Bembo (1615-1618) Scudo della Croce - Sigle IM (Jacopo da Molin) - qSPL. (republic of Venice, Giovanni Bembo, 1615-18, scudo of the cross, initials IM. About extremely fine.)"

While none of the scudi of seventeenth century century Venice are common, this one is scarce, being priced about double the others.

Specification: 31.83 g, 0.948 fine silver, 42-43 mm diameter, this specimen 31,49 g.
