Unlike the Charlotte and Dahlonega issues shown elsewhere in the Wiki, this issue is common. However, the presence of the magic "CC" mintmark earns it a price about double the common 1885-S or 1891. The Carson City mint struck this type 1870-84 and 1890-93 before closing for good.
