This specimen was lot 3278 in Stephen Album sale 38 (Santa Rosa, CA, September 2020), where it sold for $261.80. The catalog description[1] noted, "UNITED ARAB EMIRATES: AR 50 dirhams, 1998/AH1419, The 50th Anniversary of the United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund (UNICEF), PCGS graded PF69 DC." The second specimen was lot 2816 in Stephen Album sale 41 (Santa Rosa, CA, September 2021), where it sold for $144. The catalog description[2] noted, "UNITED ARAB EMIRATES: AR 50 dirhams, 1998/AH1419, Landmans-37, The 50th Anniversary of the United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund (UNICEF), PCGS graded PF69 DC." Altho this denomination was usually reserved for a 40 g silver coin, this one weighs only 27.5 g.
