This specimen was lot 2767 in Goldberg sale 109 (Los Angeles, January 2019), where it sold for $1,140. The catalog description[1] noted, "Italian States: Tuscany. 5 Paoli (½ Francescone), 1829-PC. Leopold II. Bust right. Reverse: Crowned shield. Attractively toned original mint state example. NGC graded MS-63." This type is listed for 1827-29. These obscure little Italian states coins don't catalog for much but are very difficult to find. The five paoli was one half of a francescone, the Tuscan equivalent of a piastra.

Specification: 13.75 g, 0.917 fine silver, 31 mm diameter, lettered edge.
