This specimen was lot 32187 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2025), where it sold for $1,920. The catalog description[1] noted, "ITALY. Tuscany. Ruspone, 1829. Florence Mint. Leopoldo II. PCGS AU-58. Residing at the cusp of Mint State status, this enchanting specimen radiates with an abundance of opulent luster and brilliance." This coin had a face value of three ducats, It was struck 1824-25, 1829, 1834 and 1836 and all dates are rare.
