This specimen was lot 32286 in Heritage sale 3081 (New York, January 2020), where it sold for $5,280. The catalog description[1] noted, "Italy: Tuscany. Leopold II gold Ruspone (3 Zecchini) 1836 MS65 NGC. The finest of only two NGC-certified examples of this final year of the series, and a spectacular example with glittering mint luster and boldly struck details. Very rare and desirable in this incredible condition. From the Caranett Collection." This coin had a face value of three ducats, It was struck 1824-25, 1829, 1834 and 1836 and all dates are rare.
