Sincona sale 80, lot 2809

This specimen was lot 2809 in Sincona sale 80 (Zürich, October 2022), where it sold for 200 CHF (about US$240 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted, "ITALY | Toskana, Leopoldo II. di Lorena, 1824-1859. Paolo 1831, Firenze. About uncirculated." This type was struck 1831-32 and 1838. The last paolo was issued in 1858. Ten paoli made a francescone.
