The catalog description[1] noted, "TURKEY: Mahmud II, 1808-1839, AR 6 kurush, Kostantiniye, AH1223 year 28, 10th issue, some hairlines, attractive light luster, AU-UNC." This type was struck years 26-32 and has a low catalog value.
