This specimen was lot 2414 in Stephen Album sale 39 (Santa Rosa, CA, January 2021), where it sold for $60. The catalog description[1] noted, "TURKEY: Mahmud II, 1808-1839, AV ¼ cedid mahmudiye, Kostantiniye, AH1223 year 30, AU." This quarter cedid mahmudiye was struck years 26-32. It has a low catalog value because of its tiny size, irrespective of its rarity.
