This specimen was lot 1821 in Steve Album Auction 52 (Santa Rosa, CA, May 2025), where it sold for $390. The catalog description[1] noted, "TURKEY: Selim III, 1789-1807, AR 20 para, Islambul, AH1203 year 5 (1793), a pleasant lustrous mint state example, PCGS graded MS61. Part of a small group of 7 coins of this accessional date and regnal year purchased by Maj. Fred S. Pridmore in Cyprus in the 1960s." This type was struck years 1-16. Forty para made a kuruş.
