This specimen was lot 1871 in Steve Album Auction 54 (Santa Rosa, CA, January 2026), where it sold for $105. The catalog description[1] noted, "TURKEY: Selim III, 1789-1807, AR 5 para, Islambul, AH1203 year 5 (1793), a wonderful lustrous mint state example! PCGS graded MS64. Part of a small group of 18 coins of this accessional date and regnal year purchased by Maj. Fred S. Pridmore in Cyprus in the 1960s." This type was struck years 1-13. Five para made one-eighth kuruş.
