This specimen was lot 486 in Steve Album Auction 54 (Santa Rosa, CA, January 2026), where it sold for $390. The catalog description[1] noted, "TURKEY: Selim III, 1789-1807, AR yuzluk (100 para), Islambul, AH1203 year 19, key date for type KM-507, bold strike without any weakness, choice XF, RR, ex Kenneth A. Bovenkamp Collection." This type was struck years 1-19 and most dates are common. It's a bit of a stretch to call this a silver crown but Davenport assigned it a number.
Recorded mintage: unknown but a rare date.
Specification: 31-32.9 g, 0.465 fine silver, 38 mm diameter, this specimen 31.81 g.
