This specimen was lot 1946 in Steve Album Auction 55 (Santa Rosa, CA, May 2026), where it sold for $120. The catalog description[1] noted, "TURKEY: Selim III, 1789-1807, AR yüzlük (100 para), Islambul, AH1203 year 18, some weakness, mainly on the reverse, better date, VF-XF, ex Kenneth A. Bovenkamp Collection." This type was struck years 1-19 and most dates are common. It's a bit of a stretch to call this a silver crown but Davenport assigned it a number.
Recorded mintage: unknown.
Specifications: 31-32.9 g, 0.465 fine silver, 38 mm diameter, this specimen is 31.82 g.
