This specimen was lot 368 in Sincona sale 31 (Zürich, October 2016), where it sold for 160 CHF (about US$190 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted, "REPUBLIC OF TUNISIA, 10 dinars 1978ce (1398ah) AR." This issue commemorating the twentieth anniversary of the central bank of Tunisia was issued in silver and gold and several reverses. It is rare but inexpensive for lack of demand.
Recorded mintage: 4,000 uncirculated plus proofs plus gold strikes.
Specification: 38 g, 0.900 fine silver, 1.092 troy oz ASW, this specimen 38.21 g.
