Sincona sale 31, lot 370

This specimen was lot 370 in Sincona sale 31 (Zürich, October 2016), where it sold for 180 CHF (about US$214 including buyer's fees). The catalog description^[1] noted, "REPUBLIC OF TUNISIA, 10 dinars 1983ce (1403ah) AR unc ex Pf." This issue commemorating the twenty-fifth anniversary of the central bank of Tunisia was issued in silver and several reverses. It is rare but inexpensive for lack of demand.

Recorded mintage: uncirculated plus 2,500 proofs.

Specification: 38 g, 0.900 fine silver, 1.092 troy oz ASW, this specimen 38.06 g.
