Troppau-Jagerndorf 1615-BH 3 kreuzer
This specimen was lot 1933 in Sincona sale 47 (Zürich, May 2018), where it sold for 140 CHF (about US$168 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"LIECHTENSTEIN, Karl, 1585-1627. 3 Kreuzer 1615, Troppau. Vorzüglich. Hübsche Patina. (Germany, principality of Liechtenstein, Charles, 1585-1627, three kreuzer of 1615, Troppau mint. Extremely fine, Attractive patina.)"
Silesia is considered a German State even tho the province was then under Austrian rule and is now in Poland. This type, listed for 1615-19, is rare like most of the coinage of this locality. The cataloguers at Sincona likely listed this coin under Liechtenstein to appeal to Swiss bidders.
Recorded mintage: unknown.
