Künker sale 294, lot 3770

This specimen was lot 3770 in Künker sale 294 (Osnabruck, Germany, July 2017), where it sold for €340 (about US$458 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"TRIER, ERZBISTUM, Kuno II. von Falkenstein, 1362-1388. Goldgulden o. J. (um 1380), Oberwesel. GOLD. Etwas schwach ausgeprägt, leicht gewellt, sehr schön +. (Germany, archbishopric of Trier, Kuno II of Falkenstein, 1362-88, undated goldgulden, Oberwesel mint. Weakly struck, very fine or better.)"

Friedberg lists this as a product of the Wesel mint. It is fairly common.
