This specimen was lot 2155 in Künker sale 352 (Osnabrück, Germany, September 2021), where it sold for €850 (about US$1,183 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"TRIER, ERZBISTUM, Kuno II. von Falkenstein, 1362-1388. Goldgulden o. J. (1374), Trier. GOLD. Sehr schön +. (Germany, archbishopric of Trier, Kuno II von Falkenstein, 1362-88, undated goldgulden, Trier mint. very fine or better.)"
Friedberg also notes Fr-3407 and Fr-3408 from this mint. Trier and the other archbishoprics were significant producers of gold in the Middle Ages.
