This specimen was lot 2922 in Steve Album Auction 54 (Santa Rosa, CA, January 2026), where it sold for $80. The catalog description[1] noted, "SWITZERLAND: Confederation, AE rappen, Bern, 1953-B, beautiful full red coloration, a lovely example! PCGS graded Specimen 67RD. Tied for finest graded at PCGS." This type was struck 1948-2006 and demonetized in 2007. The "B" mintmark was dropped 1970-85.
Recorded mintage: 5,947,000, a better date.
Specification: 1.5 g, bronze, 16 mm diameter, plain edge.
