The first specimen was lot 47759 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Chicago, August 2024), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "SWITZERLAND. Franc, 1953-B. Bern Mint. NGC MS-65." This type was struck 1878-1967 in silver and is still in production today in copper-nickel form. Few dates after 1936 are scarce and this one is fairly common.

Specification: 5 g, 0.835 fine silver, 23.2 mm diameter.

Catalog reference: KM-24.
