Stephen Album internet sale 28, lot 1235

This specimen was lot 1235 in Stephen Album internet sale 28 (Santa Rosa, CA, July 2024), where it sold for $108. The catalog description[1] noted, "SWEDEN: Oscar I, 1844-1859, AE 2/3 skilling, 1855, an attractive example, PCGS graded MS62 BN, ex Joe Sedillot Collection." By the reform of 1830, 32 skilling banco = one riksdaler. This type was struck 1845-55 and is common. It is the last of the denomination. This is a common date.
