This specimen was lot 11435 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2025), where it sold for €240 (about US$250). The catalog description[1] noted, "SWEDEN. 2/3 Skilling Banco, 1854. Stockholm Mint. Oscar I. NGC MS-62 Red Brown. From the L. E. Bruun Collection." In the reform of 1830, the skilling, formerly 1/48 riksdaler, became 1/128 riksdaler and new copper denominations issued. The smallest silver denomination, the 1/32 riksdaler, was three skilling. This type was struck 1845-55. The coinage was reformed again in 1855 and this denomination dropped.
