This specimen was lot 11418 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2025), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "SWEDEN. 1/6 Riksdaler, 1814 - OL. Stockholm Mint. Karl XIII. NGC VF-30. Rare date. From the L. E. Bruun Collection." This type was struck 1809-10 and 1814. In 1814, Sweden obtained Norway from Denmark, and the title "king of Norway" was added to the coinage.
Recorded mintage: 199,146, including an 1814/0 overdate.
Specifications: 6.22 g, 0.691 fine silver, 26.3 mm diameter; this specimen 6.12 g.
