Sincona sale 90, lot 2600

This specimen was lot 2600 in Sincona sale 90 (Zürich, May 2024), where it sold for 60 CHF (about US$79 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"SCHWEIZ St. Gallen, Stadt und Kanton, 6 Kreuzer 1786, St. Gallen. Münzzeichen Z in doppeltem Oval. Rv. Münzzeichen HGZ. Vorzüglich. (Switzerland, canton of St. Gall, six kreuzer of 1786, mintmark "Z" in double oval. Extremely fine.)"

This type was struck again by the city (not the abbot) in 1790.
