This Spanish fifty centimos was issued by Franco's regime for circulation in 1951-65. All the issues of 1951-62 bear the date 1949 below the dictator's bust but have the actual date in the stars on the reverse. Some dates are scarce but this one is fairly common.
Recorded mintage: 38,000,000.
Specification: copper-nickel, 21 mm diameter.
