This specimen was lot 1799 in Stephen Album sale 38 (Santa Rosa, CA, September 2020), where it sold for $476. The catalog description[1] noted, "SPAIN: Francisco Franco, Caudillo, 1936-1975, 1 peseta, 1947 (56), rare date! PCGS graded MS65, R." This type was struck 1948-67 in large numbers and most dates are common. This date is very scarce. Altho the date below the bust is 1947, the actual date is in the stars on the reverse.
Recorded mintage: unknown but few.
Specification: 3.5 g, aluminum bronze, 21 mm diameter.
