This specimen was lot 50623 in Ponterio sale 168 (Philadelphia, August 2012), where it sold for $207. The catalog description[1] noted, "SPAIN. Peseta, 1947 (51). PCGS MS-64." This type was struck 1948-67 in large numbers and most dates are common in circulated condition. This date is scarce. Altho the date below the bust is 1947, the actual date is in the stars on the reverse; Spain was the only country to do this.

Recorded mintage: 9,185,000.

Specification: 3.5 g, aluminum bronze, 21 mm diameter.
