This specimen was lot 72970 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Santa Ana, CA, May 2017), where it sold for $352.50. The catalog description[1] noted, "SOUTH AFRICA. Sovereign, 1932-SA. NGC MS-62." The Pretoria mint operated as a branch of the Royal mint, striking George V sovereigns 1923-32.

Recorded mintage: 1,067,000, a common date.

Specification: 7.98 g, 0.917 fine gold, .235 troy oz AGW.
