Künker Auction 425, lot 2542

This specimen was lot 2542 in Künker Auction 425 (Osnabrück, July 2025), where it sold for €1,300 (about US$1,841 including buyers' fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"DEUTSCHE MÜNZEN AB 1871 · REICHSGOLDMÜNZEN, SACHSEN Georg, 1902-1904. 10 Mark 1904. Fast Stempelglanz. (Germany, kingdom of Saxony, George, 1902-04, ten mark of 1904, about uncirculated.)"

The other date is 1903; the type is fairly common.

Recorded mintage: 149, 260 plus proofs.

Specification: 3.98 g, 0.900 fine gold, 19.5 mm diameter.
