This specimen was lot 46775 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Oklahoma City, OK, August 2025), where it sold for $65. The catalog description[1] noted, "GERMANY. Saxony. 2 Pfennig, 1864-B. Dresden Mint. Johann. PCGS MS-64 Brown. From the Richard Margolis Collection." This type was struck 1862-66, 1869 and 1873 in substantial quantities along with a pfennig (KM 1216) and five pfennige (KM 1218). The introduction fo the mark upon unification rendered all of the small change obsolete.
