This specimen was lot 3747 in Künker sale 294 (Osnabrück, Germany, July 2017), where it sold for €1,950 (about US$2,628 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"SACHSEN, KÖNIGREICH, Anton, 1827-1836. Dukat 1832, S. GOLD. Nur 776 Exemplare geprägt. Winz. Kratzer, vorzüglich. (kingdom of Saxony, Anton, 1827-36, ducat of 1832. Only 776 examples struck, light scratches, extremely fine.)"
Friedberg lumps all the ducats of this ruler under one catalog number but this type of 1829-36 has an older bust than the issue of 1827 (KM 1115). Ducats were last struck in 1838.
