This specimen was lot 32931 in Heritage sale 3064 (Chicago, April 2018), where it sold for $432. The catalog description[1] noted, "Saxony. Friedrich August III Taler 1806-SGH MS61 NGC, Dresden mint. Regular issue type and last year of Friedrich as Duke and Elector. Soon, he would be elevated to king. Armored Bust design with light silvery toning and noticeable underlying luster. From the Jamestown Collection." This type was issued 1793-1806. It is common. It was issued concurrently with a mining thaler (Dav-851).
