This specimen was lot 2190 in Sincona sale 77 (Zürich, May 2022), where it sold for 10,000 CHF (about US$12,138 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"GERMANY | Sachsen, Herzogtum, ab 1547 Kurfürstentum, ab 1806 Königreich | Albertiner. Johann Georg I. 1615-1656. 4 Dukaten 1630, Dresden. Auf die 100-Jahrfeier der Übergabe der Augsburger Konfession. Sehr selten. Gutes sehr schön. Minimal gewellt. (Germany, electorate of Saxony, John George I, 1615-56, four ducats of 1630, Dresden mint, on the centennial of the Augsburg Confession. Very rare, Good very fine, Slightly wavy planchet.)"

The SCWC also mentions a silver thaler (Dav-7606), two thalers (Dav-7604), three thalers (Dav-7603), a gold ducat (Fr-2702) and double ducat (Fr-2701). We may safely say that the Elector regarded the centennial of the Augsburg Confession as an important occasion.
