This specimen was lot 6130 in Künker sale 386 (Osnabrück, March 2023), where it sold for €6,000 (about US$7,753 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"SACHSEN, KURFÜRSTENTUM, Johann Georg I. 1615-1656. Dukat 1622, Dresden. Der geharnischte Kurfürst steht nach r. mit der Rechten das Schwert schulternd//Vierfeldiges Wappen mit Mittelschild in verzierter Kartusche, oben Münzzeichen "Schwan" zwischen der geteilten Jahreszahl. GOLD. Von großer Seltenheit. Sehr attraktives, vorzügliches Exemplar. Aus der Sammlung "Cygnus in Nummis". Exemplar der Auktion Fritz Rudolf Künker 191, Osnabrück 2011, Nr. 5738. (electorate of Saxony, John George I, 1615-56, ducat of 1622, Dresden mint. Obverse: the armored bust of the elector stands right with his sword on his shoulder; reverse: quartered arms with escutcheon in cartouche, the swan mintmark dividing the date. Extremely rare, very attractive, extremely fine example.)"
