This specimen was lot 3736 in Stacks-Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2015), where it sold for $205.63. The catalog description[1] noted, "GERMANY. Saxony. Albertine Line. Taler, 1611. Christian II, Johann Georg I & August (1591-1611). NGC VF Details--Mount Removed. Struck to commemorate the death of Christian II. Once cleaned surfaces, now retoning with some blue highlights. From the Rockaway Collection." This commemorative is rare.
