Sincona sale 76, lot 1553

This specimen was lot 1553 in Sincona sale 76 (Zürich, May 2022), where it sold for 120 CHF (about US$146 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"HOLY ROMAN EMPIRE - AUSTRIA. Salzburg, Erzbistum. Hieronymus von Colloredo, 1772-1803. 20 Kreuzer 1777, Salzburg. Mit der Signatur M (Franz Matzenkopf der Jüngere, Stempelschneider in Salzburg, 1755-1805). FDC. NGC MS65. Prachtexemplar. (archbishopric of Salzburg, Hieronymus von Colloredo, 1772-1803, twenty kreuzer of 1777, Salzburg mint, with engraver's initial "M". Uncirculated, Cabinet piece.)"

This type was struck 1774-86 and is a common twenty kreuzer.
