This specimen was lot 1253 in Jean Elsen sale 116 (Brussels, March 2013), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted,

Très Beau à Superbe (Holy Roman Empire, archbishopric of Salzburg, Jerome of Colloredo (1772-1803), silver thaler of 1772, first type, commemorating his ascent to the throne. Rare, Very fine to extremely fine.)"
This type was struck 1772 only and is scarce compared to the later type (Dav-1263). The Archbishop is most remembered as the first patron of Mozart but grew irritable when Mozart demanded better status than a mere employee.
