This specimen was lot 39651 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2025), where it sold for $216. The catalog description[1] noted, "RUSSIA. 5 Kopeks, 1935. St. Petersburg (Leningrad) Mint. PCGS MS-63. New type without circle around national arms." This type was struck 1935-36. It has the same module as the previous Y94 but lacks the obverse motto, "ПРОЛЕТАРИИ ВСЕХ СТРАН, СОЕДИНЯИТЕСЬ!"
Recorded mintage: 11,735,000 (including Y94).
Specification: 5 g, aluminum bronze, 25 mm diameter, reeded edge.
