Russia 1939 10 kopeks rev DSLR.jpg

This type was struck for Russia 1937-46. It superseded a silver ten kopeks (KM Y86). Most dates are worthless except for the rare 1942 and 1944. The mintages are not known, Stalin apparently thinking them to be state secrets.

Recorded mintage: unknown.

Specifications: 1.74 g, copper-nickel, 17.5 mm diameter, reeded edge.

Catalog reference: KM Y109.
