This specimen was lot 32171 in Heritage sale 3076 (Long Beach, CA, September 2019), where it sold for $2,220. The catalog description[1] noted, "Russia: R.S.F.S.R. Proof 15 Kopecks 1923 PR67 Cameo NGC, Leningrad mint, Blazing white, with sharply struck details and only a few, barely noticeable, minute marks. None have been certified finer by NGC." This type was struck by the Communists 1921-23. The last silver 15 kopeks was struck in 1931.
