This specimen was lot 1022 in Sincona sale 19 (Zürich, October 2014), where it sold for CHF 3,200 (about US$4,010 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted, "15 Kopecks 1922. Cabinet piece. Choice brilliant proof." In 1921, having defeated all its internal enemies, the Bolshevik regime prepared to resume a silver coinage of ten kopeks up to a ruble. This is the middle of three dates (1921-23). The last silver fifteen kopeks were issued in 1931.
