This specimen was lot 3811 in Goldberg sale 70 (Los Angeles, September 2012), where it sold for $1,092.50. The catalog description[1] noted, "Russia. 10 Rubles, 1904-АР. Nicholas II. NGC graded MS-65." This type was struck 1898-1911 in sufficient numbers as to be considered a bullion coin. At the time of issue 100 French gold francs = 37½ Russian gold rubles.

Recorded mintage: 1,025,000.

Specification: 8.60 g, 0.900 fine gold, .248 troy oz AGW.
