This specimen was lot 24793 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2018), where it sold for $780. The catalog description[1] noted, "RUSSIA. 10 Ruble, 1903-AP. NGC MS-65. Good strike with soft satin luster. Lightly toned and quite attractive." This type was struck 1898-1911 in sufficient numbers as to be considered a bullion coin. At the time of issue, 100 French gold francs = 37½ Russian gold rubles.

Specification: 8.60 g, 0.900 fine gold, .248 troy oz AGW.
