Goldberg NY International sale 59, lot 2238

This specimen was lot 2238 in Goldberg's NY International sale 59 (New York, January 2023), where it did not sell. The catalog description^[1] noted, "½ Kopeck 1895 CПБ. Authenticated and graded by NGC MS 64 BN (# 4501422-019). Scarce year. Attractive silvery-brown with a cobalt blue undertone. Very choice brilliant uncirculated." This type was struck 1894-1900, 1908-14 in moderate numbers. The SCWC does not award this date a premium.

Recorded mintage: 2,992,000.
